  • Take out the CD and make sure your CD is clean and doesn’t have any scratches on the surface of it.

If you’re on a Mac, you can install the driver through the Apple software update. Connect the printer to the computer via a USB cable or network.

  • Once, you’ve made sure that the printer is connected to the computer. Click on the Apple menu on your Mac and select System Preferences.
  • Select the Printers and Scanners option from the System Preferences and check if your printer is listed there.
  • If your printer’s name is present in the list, remove and add your printer again. To remove, you will have to select the printer and click on the – sign on the left bottom of the window to remove it from the list.
